Hardboard has a smooth, uniform surface that’s ideal for painting, veneering, or laminating, ensuring a premium finish for your projects.
It is easy to cut, shape, and finish using standard woodworking tools—perfect for both DIYers and professionals.
This includes a finetooth handsaw, a skill saw and a jig saw. Holes can be created using hole saws, cutter bits or twist drills. High speed routers, spindle moulders and shapers may be used to shape or mould edges. Ensure all cutting tools are sharp and used in accordance with good trade practice and with the equipment supplier’s instructions.
Can also be cut or engraved using a laser cutter but you will need to check your laser cutter specifications first.
